Where can I find materials (texts, images, music) that I am free to use in my own work?
You may reuse images and other materials that have been made available under a Creative Commons Licence by the copyright owner, as long as you respect the terms of the licence.
You can apply a filter when you search for images on Google, to narrow the search down by Creative Commons materials. See Google's guidance on this.
The Creative Commons search portal allows you to search for openly licensed images and audio across several platforms, including YouTube, Flickr, Vimeo and Wikimedia Commons.
You may search CORE, a platform that aggregates open access research articles, preprints, theses and other works from different publisher platforms, preprint servers and open access repositories.
