How do I find the DOI for an article that I'm referencing?
Answer
A DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is a unique number made up of a prefix and a suffix separated by a forward slash. This is an example of one: 10.1000/182.
You can check to see if the resource you are referencing has a DOI at Crossref.
If the article does not have a DOI but does have an accessible URL, include this in the reference instead.
