Q. Can you get a print book if it is already available online via Explore?
While we understand that some prefer print material, UCL Library policy is to purchase an ebook wherever possible. This is a more effective use of our limited resources and increases accessibility for the majority of our users.
If you are experiencing an issue with the use of ebooks there is a range of support available to help you. If you would like to find out about the software that is available to help with accessibility, e.g. screen readers, you can contact a UCL Disability Advisor via https://www.ucl.ac.uk/students/askucl, and we also have a team within Library Services who may be able to advise at email@example.com.
If there is a technical problem (broken links or browser compatibility, for example), please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
