Can I access library services while interrupting my studies?
Whilst on an interruption of study, your Portico status will be changed, your UCL Library membership will expire and your UCL student ID card will be deactivated meaning you will lose access to the library buildings and study spaces.
If you wish to access the library buildings and borrow books whilst on an interruption of study then you can apply for Alumni Borrowing Membership, free of charge, for the duration of your interruption.
Please note that during your interruption of studies you will still be able to access electronic resources via Explore, without logging-in to My Account. You can search for electronic resources on Explore and follow the links as usual. When you click on a link you will be taken to a UCL authentication webpage before access is provided.
