How do I access the OECD iLibrary?

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organization comprising 38 member countries dedicated to promoting policies that improve economic and social well-being worldwide. It provides a platform for members to exchange experiences, align policies, and identify best practices for addressing shared challenges. The OECD produces a broad range of resources, including reports, data, and policy analysis. While many of these materials are freely available online, others are accessible only through the OECD iLibrary. UCL subscribes to the iLibrary and it can be accessed via one of these routes: 

1) UCL Explore; or via the

2) A - Z list of databases

If you are working remotely, you will be prompted enter your UCL credentials.

The iLibrary collates the free and subscribed resources to allow seamless searching across content such as the 

  • OECD Factbook
  • Working Papers series
  • OECD Key tables
  • Full-text education books
  • Higher Education Management and Policy Journal and
  • OECD statistics
