Q. I have a book that has been recalled/requested but I cannot return it. Can the recall/request be cancelled?
Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel item recalls at this time as the library service is continuing to operate as it has been since September, to continue to support teaching and learning across the university. The recall means that another person is currently in need of this title, and we would be grateful if you can return it to us, however you would not be penalized for its late return. Although we cannot take them off your library record immediately, they will be safely stored for our 72-hour quarantine period and then returned as soon as possible.
