Q. Why am I limited to two study space bookings a day? This isn’t enough time for me.

Answer

Although we appreciate that students may require longer study periods, the booking limits for our study spaces are informed by a weekly review of our space capacity and the current level of demand. The aim is to allow each student as much study time as possible, while remaining under our capacity so that every student has daily access to a study space.

To ensure social distancing we have had to significantly reduce our study space capacity, but if/when our capacity begins to significantly exceed the level of demand the booking limit will be reviewed. Library Services are currently investigating the possibility of adding new study spaces that will help to increase our capacity.
