How can I book a study space or meeting room?

Answer

Most of our individual study spaces are freely available without a booking. More information is available on our range of libraries and study spaces

Room and study space booking instructions are available at our Bookable study spaces help page

You can find a list of bookable spaces, across all UCL Libraries, via this link. If you click on the name of the room you will find room details and photographs.

There are a mix of individual and group study rooms and spaces.

UCL students and staff can place bookings for study spaces in our buildings for up to 7 hours per day through the booking system homepage, from 1200 hours (midday) 3 days in advance,

Current NHS members with a valid ID card can use the NHS study space booking page. Please ensure that you are booking at the correct location for your affiliated NHS Trust.

  • Please retain your booking confirmation email, as you may need to present it to a member of staff.
  • If you cannot attend at your booked time please cancel the booking in order to release the space for another user.
  • You must arrive at the library and check-in within 30 minutes of the start time of your booking so that we know that the space is in use.
  • Please keep noise at a level that will not disturb other users of the library.
  • The spaces are not soundproofed and you cannot lock them.
